High School Curriculum 

       Team F.R.E.D. has played an important role in creating classes and developing curriculum for Warroad High School, including: Robotics, Digital Marketing, 3D-Modeling, Architecture, and Digital Manufacturing/Engineering.  The CTE program will be offering a career pathway in Manufacturing aligning curriculums and offering badging and credentials to help stimulate our students into rewarding careers.  Team F.R.E.D. has been instrumental in bringing new technology into the school ranging from 3D-Printers, CNC mills and Lathes, along with CNC routers.  These machines are utilized by not only our members but also our entire student body. 

       To add to our PR and marketing group, we helped develop a Digital marketing program, bringing in new computers and a commercial-size latex printer.  With the newly offered Digital manufacturing classes, students will get to utilize a Computer Science curriculum from the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA). This program is a direct result of supporting one of our teachers and helping to secure and pay for travel and related expenses to go in-person to North Carolina to take courses bringing back 20 new Hummingbird kits to add to our school and spaces. All this is set for this summer (2026).  Team F.R.E.D has also added a 3 KW Fiber Laser to the school metal shop through a CTE grant and Pine to Prairie. These classes have given students the opportunity to get real life experience in the STEM fields that otherwise would not be possible from our small community.
